Madison Square Garden played host to the 60th Annual Grammy Awards this year. While the team was off in Orlando busting their humps to CRUSH with the NFL / Bulldog DM, Dusty and Christa hit the Big Apple to celebrate "Music's Biggest Night".
NFL Pro Bowl "Celebration of the Year" w/ Keegan Michael Key!
It's been a wild run thus far in 2018. First the Sony - Lost in Music campaign kick off, now getting to work with the NFL and Keegan Michael Key at Disney World. SO COOL.
Mr. Key was an absolute pleasure to work with as was the entire staff at Disney. The stream went off without a hitch and many laughs were had.

What a wild weekend our team had in LA! It was our first crush with Bulldog Digital Media and we went hard! FS5's with Angenieux lenses making for a very lovely image.
Khalid and G-Eazy did not disappoint their fans both in LA and on the live stream. Off to Brooklyn for the next stop on the Lost in Music campaign!
3 Days w/ Collide!
Our crew had a blast supporting the folks from Collide as we shot artist profiles highlighting area bands and what they love about Austin, TX.
Super fun crew and we were thoroughly impressed with their artist choices. Everyone was super down to Earth, friendly and talented. What more could you ask for?
And, 4 year old Lexie (Dusty's youngest daughter) got to make her XI Media crew debut on the last shoot day. Yeah!

Tove Lo at Elsewhere in Brooklyn, NY
Had the pleasure of running up to Brooklyn to support our friends at VideoStatic to live stream Tove Lo at the fantastic venue, Elsewhere.
Live stream went well and we crushed it for only have three cameras. Always fun to maximize our limitations.

It's never every day you get to put together a 5 camera shoot in less than a 24 hour time period on a weekend, but when you do...you better be ready!
Somehow we got this shoot together and had a great time shooting Matisyahu + Common Kings in our own backyard at good ol' Stubb's!
Toyota Music Den - Lollapalooza 2017!!!
Our amazing friends at C3 brought our team to Chicago to produce all video content for the Toyota Music Den this year at Lollapalooza. What and incredible honor and pleasure it was to capture 24 artists and produce 3 recap pieces daily.
Highlights for our team included Frenship, Flint Eastwood, Sofi Tukker and The Districts. We can not WAIT for the next opportunity to work with both C3 and Toyota.
Outside of the festival, we had time to catch up with local friends, eat some delicious pizza and catch a few after parties...none of which could touch Floodfest on Saturday night featuring a blistering set by Grace Mitchell and DJ sets by Alt-J's Gus and Flint Eastwood. Much love to FLOOD!
Float Fest iMag!
Our team hit the ground running after the APMAs to produce iMag for a local festival. Float Fest has been around for a few years now and right in our backyard, so it was a pleasure to make a quick drive to CRUSH artists like Girl Talk, Weezer, Cage the Elephant and more!
Two stages worth of iMag production over the course of a crazy hot and wet weekend. Good times.
Alternative Press Music Awards 2017!!!
Long in the works, our team was finally given the opportunity to produce the 2017 edition of the APMAs in Cleveland, Ohio!!! To say this was a massive undertaking is an understatement. Months worth of work and planning paid off though.
Working with the AP team was an incredible experience. We have made life long partners / friends and everyone is proud of what we were able to put together.
The live stream was 4 hours long, featured a dozen different awards and 16 artist performances ranging from the stage to the aisles. Highlights included Against Me! performing a career spanning medley, a drum off featuring Frank Zummo, Adrian Young and Josh Dunn, Set it Off! performing in the audience and a special appearance by GWAR!

When our friends at Pitchfork call in need of a director / shooters / etc, we answer! This time around their team was double booked and needed a director for their live stream of Alex G at Music Hall of Williamsburg.
Dusty headed to the city to punch the show with their team and it was a fantastic time had by all.
Whitney "Pitchfork Live!" Stream at Brooklyn Steel!
Pitchfork brought us on to direct and add support crew for a live stream of the band Whitney at the recently opened Brooklyn Steel in...Brooklyn. The venue rocks and sounds great. Everyone there was a pleasure to work with and the end product turned out pretty rad.

Hurray for the Riff Raff Pitchfork Live Stream @ Meow Wolf!!!
More often than not, we are brought into conventional music venues to do that thing. Each venue is unique, but it's still essentially still a "music venue". Then, there's MEOW WOLF in Santa Fe, NM. This place can truly only be understood in person, but if you like climbing through a refrigerator and ending up in an under the sea themed lounge, or if the idea of exploring Lewis Carrol's dream house, then this place is for you!
Our team was brought in to shoot Hurray for the Riff Raff performing for a few hundred people in the performance space at Meow Wolf, and what an incredible experience! The venue itself leant to such an incredible vibe and look. We then tried to match the artistic vibes by shooting unique video clips for each song in Hurray's set. Overlaying these videos shot all over the Meow Wolf space really helped convey the artistic experience of attending / performing in the space.
Such a fun shoot and we truly hope to revisit Meow Wolf soon!
FPSF 17 iMAG Goodness!!!
Our team had a soaked, yet fantastic time producing iMag for the main stage at FPSF in Houston, TX to kick off our relationship with C3.
There were multiple rain delays and some unfriendly conditions, but the experience overall was great and what we were able to crush, we did it in style!
XI Media Teams with Word Up Productions to Rock Skull Candy "Showdown" in Austin, TX!
The fine folks at Word Up Productions reached out to have a few rolls filled for their live stream of Skull Candy's "Showdown" to play the Warped Tour this Summer.
The live stream event was so well produced and we are very grateful to be involved. Dusty acted as Production Manager, Jon Burke was the live segment Stage Manager, Geoff Gan ran point as AC / Pit Cam Op and Dave Novak brought his talented eye to the BTS shooting. Overall, it was a great success. Hope to work with this same team again soon!
FestForums NYC
Our team is excited to be heading back to work with our friends at FestForums again this year in New York City. Craig from the team will be taking a provided feed at the Time Inc. HQ and encoding for a live stream of most of the main panels on May 11th and 12th.

Pitchfork Live Presents: Sigur Ros Performing w/ The LA Philharmonic
There are few words that can capture the absolute magic that took place on 4/14 at The Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA. Pitchfork brought our team in to produce an incredible evening of music featuring Sigur Ros w/ The LA Philharmonic and then another full set with just the band alone.

Bebe Rexha At Irving Plaza, NYC!
The amazing team at VideoStatic brought us out to engineer and TD a show with Bebe Rexha for Warner last week in NYC. It had been a minute since hitting the big city and it was so nice to return and feel at home.
The shoot went well and the show was quite impressive. She can definitely hold her own on the big stage and had so many hits! Here's some bts shots...
FADER FORT 2017 IN THE BOOKS!
It was an absolute pleasure and honor to return to produce the 2017 Fader Fort. Our team had a year off and SXSW just didn't feel right. This year was the first in a new space with a much more intimate feel. There were a slew of great performances and the crowd seemed into the new space. Overall, it was great to be back with family.
FUNNY or DIE @ SX
You've got to prepare when shooting for Funny or Die. It's quite difficult to deliver steady footage when shaking from laughter. Our team had an early morning shoot with the FOD team at Voodoo Doughnuts in Austin promoting the film CHIPs. The team was great to work with and we all left on a sugar high.
