WOW! What an insane week! Our team shot over a hundred bands and worked for the most amazing clients on the planet.
Massive thanks go out to The Dell + Fader / Converse Fader FORT team, Vans and the Mohawk crew, the fine folks over at the Rolling Stone Rock Room and lastly to Foundation for having us crew the MySpace Secret Show events. We are in fantastic company and can’t wait to do it all again! Okay, we could wait a little while…or a year, that works for us.
Highlights included Usher / Diddy / Macklemore / Solange at the FORT, Iggy Pop / Japandroids / Baths / Telekinesis / Frightened Rabbit and sooo many more at House of Vans. We also enjoyed Free Energy / Surfer Blood / Charles Bradley @ the RS Rock Room and of course, Sleigh Bells and Justin Timberlake at the MySpace Secret Shows…just wow all around!

Our crew is finally finally finally working with the great folks over at Noise Pop Festival!!! We are heading out tomorrow for a weekend that is sure to be fantastic and drenched in awesome! We will be creating a sizzle reel for the 2013 Noise Pop Festival for marketing in the coming year.
Very excited to start a relationship with such a great West Coast establishment.
After that…guess what? MARCH IS FINALLY HERE!!!!! It’s 100% pedal to the metal for SXSW 2013!!! Fader Fort / Vans / Rolling Stone events all week. It’s guaranteed to be killer week. And you’ll be able to check all of it out no matter where you live. We will post watch links and details next week.

That’s right folks, we can finally scratch off one of the top acts we were born to CRUSH from the list!
Rolling Stone was gracious enough to bring in our team to capture their stellar Super Bowl Tailgate Party sponsored by Jeep. There was a great turnout and The Roots did their thing almost non-stop of an hour and a half of awesomeness. So good!
Our New Orleans road trip was a blast! Thanks to all the crew for the hard work and long hours of traveling to pull this off. The work speaks for itself.
On top of capturing the performance, we were fortunate enough to rebroadcast the show in it’s entirety to a USO event in Virginia so that a large group of our troops could also enjoy the show prior to kick off. Proud to be a part of such a great event.
Thanks again to Rolling Stone! Now, prep for Noise Pop and SXSW! “Movin right along!”
Wow! This year has already been quite exciting with so much happening. Very exciting news to share now and in the near future.
Our crew is officially heading to the Super Bowl in NOLA for Rolling Stone’s tailgate party in partnership with Jeep. The music entertainment for the evening? None other than THE ROOTS!!!! BEYOND excited about the opportunity to CRUSH one of our favorite acts.
We are busy locking down tons of SXSW goodness, but we have a great festival in March to get us warmed up and in the mood. We will be sending a few crew members to San Francisco for the Noise Pop Festival to create a sizzle reel for the event!!! Very excited as we have been wanting to work with Noise Pop for years.
Making it happen and CRUSHING every opportunity…this…is 2013!!!
Happy 2013 folks!!! Or, as we like to call it, 20XI+2! =)
The XI Media team has a ton of exciting goings on this year. SXSW is already in full swing and we can’t wait to work with our perennials again in March! We also have a gig in NYC at the end of January that we will have details for soon as well.
Our team is going to be hitting up the TourLink Conference in Arizona in late January, so if you’re going to be there, make sure to drop us a line so we can get together.
Last, and certainly not least, 2013 marks a very huge landmark for XI Media. We are officially going to be operating in New York City full time!!! It’ll be a slow transition over the next few months, but we already have key players in place and we will be booking jobs as locals starting now! VERY excited to call NYC our second home. More details to come.

Tonight our crew will be shooting The Flaming Lips for Rolling Stone at a super intimate event sponsored by our good friends at Ray Ban. The event will be held at The Darby and guarantees to be an all out extravaganza!
